ABOUT ME

Have you ever come to the "About Me" section and completely blacked out? Thought to yourself, uhh what is there to actually know about me? What do I want others to know? Well, this is the point I am at in life. Asking myself questions like:

"What is my legacy?"

 "What have I accomplished this far?"

"What do people know about me?" 

"What do I want them to know?"

Here is a little about me...

My name is Sydney. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Since then, I am loving my career as an Engineer for a large commercial construction company. I live for creativity and gaining knowledge no matter what the subject.

 

I've always considered myself a hard worker. As long as I can remember, I have had a job...back to the curbside lemonade stand days. Staying busy kept me motivated to keep growing. I find gratification in assisting others whether it is in social situations, academically, or career wise. I truly believe your network is your power.

I have an amazing support system. This includes my boyfriend, my family, my best friends of 20+ years, my professional mentors, my amazing Oncology team and so many other influencers/mentors that have crossed the paths of my life.

​

Oh! And by the way, I was diagnosed with Stage III, Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2019 when I was 23 years old.
