How to be "On Your Breast Behavior"

Think about what some of your other first of the month routines are. Maybe paying bills or setting goals? Doing a self-breast check should be one more item on that list. Set some time aside at least once a month to perform a self-breast check and give yourself the piece of mind that nothing feels out of the ordinary.
Since being diagnosed with breast cancer, I have felt a pull to bring awareness to the BReast CAncer gene mutation or "BRCA" and how critical self-breast checks are to young women and men. I am eager to make a difference and bring awareness to the community around me.

I teamed up with a good friend of mine to create a user friendly self-breast check graphic. The graphic below will teach you the basic steps to be On Your Breast Behavior! You can make it your phone background, hang it in your bathroom or make copies and share it with friends. Just promise me you will keep it close and do regular self- checks. It is never too early to start routine testing, especially if this disease may run in your family. This graphic is not intended to replace professional medical advice. You still need to schedule your annual doctor appointments, (females and males), but consider this a starting point.
